For nearly 50 years, Meyers Jewelers has been making a commitment to community and giving back in the form of supporting the charities and causes important not only to our family and friends, but the friends, family and community that make up our "extended family."
Meyers Jewelers decided years ago to donate all proceeds generated by watch battery replacements and watch band alterations to charity. We are proud to support St. Jude Children's Hospital through this program. Over the last two years alone, Meyers Jewelers has donated nearly $11,000 to St. Jude's.
Through our relationship with the Columbus Blue Jackets, we have added Nationwide Children's Hospital to our community funding program. As the Official Jeweler of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Meyers Jewelers joined with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation to support the fight against pediatric cancer. Jen Bowden, executive director of the Foundation credits Meyers Jewelers for raising 20% of the money contributed to the Hospital from proceeds made at the Annual Foundation Golf Outing. We donated two beautiful Breitling watches for the Live Auction in addition to participating as a Lead Sponsor.
Meyers Jewelers was a major sponsor for the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation Black Tie and Blue Jackets Fashion Show held in February. The event raised over $300,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Department at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
