Recognized as a cornerstone of American architecture, the Frederick C. Robie House, built in 1906 in Chicago, Illinois, is one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous works where he boldly established the Prairie style that blended the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. His distinctive art glass windows featured throughout in geometric diamond and chevron abstractions of American prairie flora are the inspiration behind the design of our exclusive timepiece. Made with a rectangular case to reflect the strong horizontal lines of the Robie House, it features a silver-tone stainless steel case with applied indexes and a four-layer constructed dial that is finished with a curved, metalized mineral crystal that showcases the blue, gray, and green colored dial, a 3-hand movement with a signature second hand, and a case back that includes the date the Robie House project was completed. This collector’s watch also features a gray textured leather strap with the window design embossed on the inner strap, a deployant buckle closure with Frank Lloyd Wright’s signature, and water resistance to 30 meters.
